This study to obtain this new variety started in 1997 at the National Institute of Agriculture Science and it has been evaluated in Ciego de Ávila, Matanzas and Havana Provinces. It has big tuber with yellow skin, oval-oblong shape, shallow ice and a good behavior in cold storage and resistance against fungus Alternaria solani. The potential yield reached is over the 36 t/ha and the drying matter content is higher than 18%. This variety has reached high values for tuber organoleptic attribute (colour, scent, flavour, and texture), therefore it can be used as for food table as industrial processing.
