During the tobacco season 2006-2009 the results obtained in the Tobacco Experimental Station in San Juan y Martínez, Pinar del Río, were introduced in the productive practice. The work was carried out in the traditional seedlings belonging to San Juan y Martínez, Tobacco Company, with the objective of demonstrating the feasibli of the biofertilizer application in the production of seedlings of tobacco. Results showed than the morphologic characteristics of the seedlings, such like, the steam diameter and steam longitude, the total fresh and dry mass got better with the biofertilizer’s utilization. Also the cycle of the seedlings decreased in seven days. The varying biofertilizer treatment had the best economic behavior in comparison with the control, with values of utilities per hectare of $23 344,9 profitability of 127,05 % and costs of $ 0,44 for each weight received.
