SUAREZ BATISTA, Lilia E et al. Stability of the Anti-B Hemo-CIM® hemoclassifier product: A 2-year evaluation. Rev Cubana Hematol Inmunol Hemoter [online]. 2001, vol.17, n.1, pp. 59-64. ISSN 1561-2996.

The stability studies of the reagents made from monoclonal antibodies of murine origin allow to establish the life of these products adequately and are an indispensable requisite for the fulfillment of the good practices of production. The hemagglutination methods were used to measure the biological activity of the Anti-B Hemo-CIMâ product expressed in the potency, avidity and intensity against a panel of erythrocytes of the group B and A1B in order to show in a more effective way any deterioration of the reagent. It was established that the useful life of the hemoclassifier produced at the Center of Mollecular Biology is of 2 years at a storage temperature between 2 and 8ºC. The evaluation that simulates the conditions to which the users subject these reagents showed that the reagent maintains the quality characteristics required for its use. The stability attained with the Anti-B Hemo-CIMâ is similiar to that reported with the murine monoclonal Anti-A Hemo-CIMâ hemoclassifier product
