BENET RODRIGUEZ, Mikhail; CHAUVIN ROCHE, Antonio Raúl; PAZ BASANTA, Hiram  y  HURTADO CONSUEGRA, Plinio. Campo electromagnético y respuesta inmunocelular en individuos sanos. Rev Cubana Invest Bioméd [online]. 1997, vol.16, n.1, pp.40-44. ISSN 0864-0300.

The modifications of the cellular immune response to the influence of an electromagentic field of low frequency and with a density of 1 037 Gauss were analyzed in a group of apparently sound young individuals of both sexes. The sample consisted of 20 persons, 10 males and 10 females. The cellular immune response was studied by techniques of monoclonal markers CD3, CD4, CD8, and by the test of active and spontaneous rosettes to analyze the total amount of T-lymphocytes. The relation T4/T8 was taken into consideration since it is a very important index to evaluate the immunological state of the organism. The results show a remarkable increase in the formation of active and spontaneous rosette, as well as of the different lymphocytic subpopulations and the relation T4/T8 after 7 applications of the above mentioned field, in sessions of 90-120 on the hepatic, splenic and sternal region.

Palabras clave : ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELDS; IMMUNITY, CELLULAR; T-LYMPHOCYTES; BIOLOGICAL MARKERS; ANTIBODIES, MONOCLONAL; ROSETTE FORMATION.
