It was conducted a study of 126 patients with knee osteoarthritis diagnosed at the Orthopedics and Traumatology Service of the "Comandante Pinares" General Teaching Hospital, and who underwent intrarticular ozone infiltrations once a week as a unique treatment. Among the results obtained after applying the previously designed evaluative pattern, it was found a subjective clinical improvement in 81,7 of the cases, with an average of 4 infiltrations that were enough to solve the problems of most of the patients, with no complications. This method is valid for the solution of this health problem. It is stressed the significant saving of scarse drugs, which are substituted by gas at a very low cost, as well as the satisfaction of the population with the relief of their symptoms by a single procedure.
