We all now that man's health is a complex process based on the balance among biopsychosocial factors. For man to adapt to his environment it is necessary the mainteinance of an adequate synchronization of the functions of his body system. If there is an unbalance he should see a therapeutist that helps him to attain his adaptation. The more traumatic the lesion is, the more urgent will be to resort to both conventional medicine and traditional medicine. Diseases affect body and mind and we should accept them and be responsible for our health. In this paper, psychoneuroimmunology is introduced as a new branch of medicine, where it is established the new relationship existing between mind and body
