Abstract

CHICAIZA SANCHEZ, Oscar Lenin et al. Personnel selection policies and customer satisfaction in ecuador public hospitals. Rev Cubana Invest Bioméd [online]. 2018, vol.37, n.1, pp.116-120. ISSN 0864-0300.

Hospital management is considered as the way to organize and combine resources in order to comply with the policies and institutional objectives of the different entities of the health sector. Particularly the selection of personnel in public hospitals in Ecuador is regulated by several laws that do not generally consider the importance of external customer satisfaction for this activity. The purpose of this article is to evaluate the relationship between the personnel selection process and its influence on the external customer satisfaction of public hospital institutions in Ecuador.

Keywords : Hospital management; customer satisfaction; staff selection.
