Bioethics and the vast range of dilemmas it embraces are defined but not only from the medical viewpoint. The main concepts linking ethical problems with emergency care are presented. The importance of nursing care in this field supported on a duly trained staff with specific abilities and virtues is stated. Also, some partial results of an extensive research study underway are presented, which associated ethics with service quality measurement. This will be seen if traditional ethical principles of Medicine and Nursery are fulfilled.
