With advances of science and technique, it hasbeen possible to control multiple diseases that formerly were a pounding for humanity, however, the new pounding worldwide, are the accidents. In recent years OMS publications reveals that these are leading cause of death in children aged 1-5overcame by those of cancer. In Latin American, Caribbean countries, including Cuba, is among the first five cause of death for children and elderly. Thus, we decide to conduct a retrospective and descriptive study on knowledge by parents and tutors on accident protection of children aged 1-5, to discover if information retrieved is suitable or unsuitable, schooling of persons polled, as well as children of this group underwent accidents, and type predominant. Sample included 50 relative polled, pertaining to SansariqWork Basic Group (WBG), five of each FamilyPhysician Consulting Room, such sample was took in a simple randomized way in 10 WBG of urban area of this Popular Council. According results of our work, most of person polled was older than 30 years mainly children’s mother, schoolling more frequent was pre-universitary, that in children predominates those aged 4, that most of person polled dont know on accident prevention, and the more frequent accidents were falls and hounds, and male sex, that is why we reccomended intervention studies to identify risk factors relating accidents involved in that activity, and all scenarios where be possible to foster accident prevention in children aged 1-5.
