Abstract

CARRILLO GONZALEZ, Gloria Mabel  and  RUBIANO MESA, Yuriam Lida. Research in Nursing diagnoses validation. Rev Cubana Enfermer [online]. 2007, vol.23, n.3. ISSN 0864-0319.

In nursing like emergent professional discipline, the descriptions of phenomenon are precursory of the generation of theories. In this sense the nursing diagnoses constitute a useful structure for the investigation because they define and they describe the health situations that identify and take care of the nurses actually. The taxonomy of North American Nursing Diagnosis Association (NANDA) has had an ample diffusion in the educative scope, being empty in its application actually, especially to consider itself that it has been generated in other contexts or to have a language not very clear. Literature in nursing reports investigation studies to generate new diagnoses and to validate the existing ones. This article of revision tries to describe the methods of validation of the nursing diagnoses to be used in the investigation and to facilitate its application actually.

Keywords : Nursing process; nurse diagnosis; validation nursing diagnosis.
