Florence Nightingale founded the modern school of nursing this merits and devotion, without political barriers, economic and cultural to the Nobel cause of serving to needy, the destitute with medical aid, life and exemplary work as a nurse was elevated to the top of exceptionalism this story and full of love and altruism, courage and humanism, inspired the International Committee of the Red Cross in the creation of the medal that bears in her names the highest distinction awarded by the humanitarian Institution of eminent nurses and distinguished service to improve care for the wounded and sick. Highlighting the humanitarian work and solidarity of seven of eight Cuban selfless bearing of her chest with honor such a distention as well as a meanig the leathering figure at the pioneer of professionals nursing in the world, right in the centenary of this physical disappearance, are the objective of this work.
