Introduction:

The professional preparation of teachers in terms of contributing to solve the professional problems all graduate have, mainly the ones with a great biosocial impact, constitutes a need of Medical Universities.

Methods:

A descriptive cross-section study was done in the Isle of Youth Medical Sciences Faculty including 10 professors from the nursing career and 3 from Computing subject who had the experience and direct work with matters which were considered could express valid opinions. Individual interviews and focal groups were the techniques used to get all the information.

Results:

Of the interviewed professors, 9 (69.2 %) proposed the realization of a qualified degree course as a postgraduate activity that will contribute to raising the quality of Computing Science teaching in the nursing career.

Conclusions:

One of the current shortcomings in the training of Bachelor of Nursing is related to the ability to treat research component. Among the incidents causes preparing all teachers identified to meet this requirement from the subjects and curriculum areas.
