An updated review on the necessary requisites to develop home admission as a form of ambulatory care is offered. 13 requisites taken from the national and foreign literature with a total of 33 bibliographic references are pleasantly explained. This may serve as a theoretical framework to make further investigations aimed at the development of home admission
