A double-blind clinical trial was conducted in a group of patients with acute cervicitis that received attention at the"Jorge Ruiz Ramírez" and"26 de Julio" polyclinics, in the municipality of Playa. Different symptoms and signs as well as the response to aloe cures were analyzed. It was concluded that aloe is effective to treat this disease and that its favorable results increase when it is associated with lactic acid
