Comportamiento de la violencia intrafamiliar. Rev Cubana Med Gen Integr [online]. 1999, vol.15, n.3, pp.285-292. ISSN 0864-2125.

A descriptive study of history and/or present psychiatric disorders in the aggressor, gender and age group of the victim was conducted. The information was obtained by an instrument made to identify those families using violence, a questionnarie and a test of family functioning. One out of ten families presents intrafamily violence. Pyschological violence was stressed. Women in their roles of mothers proved to be the most usual aggressors in the family, whereas children and adolescents are the commonest victims.
