A cross-sectional study was carried out to determine patient satisfaction with the medical attention received at the the Main Emergency Polyclinics (MEP) in the municipality of "10 de octubre". A selfadministered questionnaris was used with the selected patients. The sample was composed of 128 patients. The satisfaction degree found was lower than the espected, whereas the unsatisfaction observed was beyond the established limits. The elements most closely related to satisfaction were the physical environment and the treatment received from the health service personnel. It is recommended to make new research and to analyze the results obtained in this study so as to know how it works and the level of satisfaction attained.
