Sexually transmited diseases are a serious health problem in today´s world. The control of these infections during pregnancy has considerably increased a present and that´s why it is necessary to strengthen the surveillance activities and their control. This topic is updated here by analyzing the world situation of some of these diseases and their repercusion on pregnant women and newborn infants
