Headache is one of the most frequent medical illnesses in the Neurology Department. If we take into account the 50-60% of the population at any time of their lives is affected and that 8-10% of them require medical treatment, then we may say that it is necessary that the physicians exactly know the various etiologies, diagnoses and therapies referred to this illness. The present paper, aimed at providing primary care physicians information about headache, made a review of the main headache etiologies, making emphasis on primary headache
