Taking into account the importance of the topic, it was made a summary as practical as possible of the professional responsibility of the physician aimed at providing a material that serves as a complement for undergraduate medical students and for the updating of physicians working in the health care field, making also reference to moral responsibility. Another purpose is to use it to prevent actions leading to a responsibility due to the lack of knowledge. Legal, working and other types of foundations that comprises the medicolegal procedures that are the main basis of the professional responsibility of physicians, since most of their actings as professionals are regulated in them, are exposed. Information is also given about the consequences and sanctions that may derive from it and the resources of appeal at the disposal of the professional, as well as the ways to do it, including the Instruction 110 that establishes the way to proceed when he is taken to trial.
