The importance of the medical diagnosis, its bases, and the different procedures to make it are stated.. The way diverse diagnostic hypotheses are established and analyzed, the significance of technology in the medical diagnosis, and the interrelation between clinic and technology are dealth with. Some particularities of the diagnosis in primary health care are also exposed.
