Drugs are the most used medical technology in the contemporary world. Prescription of a drug should not be considered as a reflex act, a kitchen recipe, or an answer to commercials or patients' pressures. An anonymous survey was done among 450 patients medicated with Spasmoforte to describe the use of this drug in the emergency department. There was a high rate of prescription of this drug and it was erroneously related to migraine. The cost of the overuse is high, and its prescription needs to be more rational and efficient.
