In past years, evolution of postgraduate education as Medical Sciences Faculty responsibility, as well as its integration to pregraduate system, and with health organization, has been one of the more significant change and of greater impact for education. It is a systemic process of learning and intellectual creation, performed in specialized institution by persons with a degree, college graduate or an equivalent degree. In scope of permanent education, postgraduate education is a essential requirement for strengthening and maintenance of professional competence, as well as to increase the labour activity quality. Our university polyclinic faces the new challenges of the postgraduate education, determining together with present trends, strategic position of Higher Medical Education in contemporary society, and its internal functioning, with the conviction that only in a free country and owner of his destiny may to perform type changes and the transcendence like that those approached in this paper, to continue improving the world in which we live.
