Abstract

The theoretical foundation of the bioethics approach in Cuban medical education, from the development of the principles system resultant from the interaction of those that rule the educational system with those of public health, is studied. An explanation is made about how in the educational process, the dialectical pairs, as a whole, that characterize it, are created and developed. An analysis is made on how the principles of autonomy, beneficence and justice in medical education, are applied. The significance and function developed by the university professor in the process of instruction and transmission of values to the new generation, with his main working tools: his word and his example, are expressed.
