Abstract

SUMMARY The teaching process of the present century has been marked by the use of technical tools, among which the computer has played a relevant role due to its advantages for both the explanation of concepts, and its assimilation. As technology advances, new effective methods for the teaching-education process are needed. It can be said that for each paradigm of Informatics, a didactic version to support the teaching process within the most diverse contents has been associated. With this paper we intend to make an approach to the evolution of computing-assisted teaching which highlights some of the most significant goals in this direction. Althougt the ideas of this article have general character, the statements contained in this paper are supported by the expperience gained with its application in medical specialties.
