Abstract

In order to found and direct the improvement of the teaching-learning process in Human Anatomy, it was made a critical assessment of the main historical characteristics of medical education and the particular didactics of this discipline in Cuba according to different medical paradigms. The strengths and weaknesses in the current implementation of the process were identified and recommendations for its future transformation were given.
