Reality of Advanced Education is the base of educative project including all graduates of this specialty at different levels of teaching existing in our country directed toward professional and human improvement. We made bibliographic reviews, working, meetings, consultations and a workshop to elaborate, mainly, strategies to transform present situation of Nursing postgraduate in practice, using features of strategic planning. It is necessary to develop the postgrade level in Bachelor in Nursing, where study is the firts order of Advanced Education given its multiplying value of knowledge, abilities, thought, and behaviour. Achivements obtained by Cuban Nursing from 1960 to present time, by means of different ways of Advanced Education, are obvious, as well as more significant challenges: development of Diplomas, Specialties, Masters, and Doctorates in Nursing.
