The present paper analyzes the results of the evaluation of the content on HIV-AIDS pathogeny among medical students from 3 consecutive courses at "Dr. Miguel Enriquez" Medical Faculty. This knowledge is tought in the fourth semester of the career. It was proved that 60 % of the examinees knew the HIV pathogeny at the level of knowledge reproduction, which is the basis for going deeper into knowledge in further years of the syllabus.
