Taking as a basis the need of forming professionals capable of making research, we prepared this paper that showed the theoretical and practical bases of a study performed for three years on pre-university students who, after graduation, took their medicine studies in "Dr Miguel Enríquez" medical school of the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences of Havana. The prepared guidelines and the opinions of participating students were also described.
