The new model of teaching Medicine in Cuba is initiated with the work education in the health area since the first years through the use of tutelary modalities, active and independent learning. For the topics of Immunology, the tutor is recommended to orientate simple researches that will be conducted by students in the population seen at the family physician's oficce Alternatives on the contents of “hypersensitivity” are offered, starting from significant problems of health coinciding with the national programs or with the strategies used by the physician in his health area. The problems selected were allergic bronchial asthma, haemolytic disease of the newborn caused by Rh conflict, dengue, viral hepatitis B, and pulmonary tuberculosis. The students will apply in the practice the knowledge on Immunology and of other sciences, and they also will acquire abilities to associate variables, to establish risks, to prepare and to apply surveys for qualitative researches, and to interpret results, obtaining knowledge with independence, and with the help of the tutor.
