Accelerated rhythm of knowledge and its expiration made higher education institutions must to achieve a appropriate integration among academic disciplines of its curricula, mainly in those curricula of disciplinary conception, however, most subjects address an excessive volume of contents without influence of a appropriate contribution of professional profile, thus, aim of this paper was to assess how to achieve integration of disciplinary contents. Medicine career has a disciplinary design and the system approach allows to understand role of discipline and its horizontal and vertical integration, determining role of subject in its essential features by discipline and corresponding year, and only it is possible to obtain a curricular and clear conception if there is the knowledge of general idea, years, and disciplines of the career. It was mentioned the way to produce integrations in these senses, and examples were presented, besides to offer options for discipline level, design of teaching and integrating tasks, introductions of professional problems where health-disease problem be discussed from its different disciplinary perspectives, performing of student researches where some sciences be overlapped, as well as development of methodological work favoring staff training.
