The present paper is the result of an educational research project developed in "Calixto García Iníguez" Medical Sciences Faculty and its aim was to design and to apply a pedagogical strategy allowing to improve the training for scientific research of the medical pre- and post-graduates. Pilot studies (surveys and paper reviews) were conducted. It was confirmed the need of improving the student's scientific activity, and to take pedagogical actions to enhance the training of students and tutors. Some results were obtained from the strategy adopted.One of them was that the Faculty won the first place in the Student's Scientific Meeting of the institute in the academic courses 2005-2006 and 2006-2007.
