Abstract

A researching study in the pregraduate education field was carried out to characterize factors related to students quit of National Program of Community Integral Medicine Training during school period of I Human Morphology matter in Carvajal municipality, Trujillo State in school course 2005-2006. Study sample included 15 students as academic drop out. For data collection we used a survey applied to sample of broken up students, and a semi-structured interview and to the depth applied to teaching boards of Trujillo State, and of municipality acted as key informants. We used also absolute numbers and percentages to summarize information and tables for its presentation. There was a low students academic performance after graduation of high school diploma (60, 0%), and in the pre-medical period (46, 6%) as well as a predominance of students from grammar school (53,3%), and married (53,3%). We conclude that school quit was a multicausal phenomenon, where socioeconomic factors predominate, followed by the academic and personal ones.
