Abstract

Some of the most frequent mistakes found in medical texts translated from English are analyzed, and reflected on, from different angles: the ing ending, the passive voice, the false cognates, idioms, decimal separators, the articles, the capital letters, polysemy, barbarisms, prepositions and general mistakes. The analysis is based on specific examples.
