Abstract

Curricular strategies are an alternative that could be advantageous for creation of professional competences in Medical Sciences during pregraduate and postgraduate period. There is a lack of a methodological structure form. OBJECTIVE: To work out and to validate initially a methodological guide for design and application of curricular strategies. METHODS: We made a review of curricular, methodological and normative documents of different careers related to the research aim. There were analysis and discussion sessions with expert groups (curricular design and methodological advisers), chief professors from the governing center) and also we made a first application as piloting. RESULTS: A Methodological Guide was designed, as well as the functional organization proposal presented. CONCLUSION: Due to the features of drawed up methodological proposal, it may be useful in the design and implementation of curricular strategies of the different Medical Sciences careers and in postgraduate period.
