Authors an evaluation of knowledges and abilities of inhabitants of Trujillo state achieved in the module of Analysis of Health Situation (AHS). A system of theoretical and empirical methods was applied, which allowed to confirm and to validate the information offered favoring the achievement of results presented. A survey was applied to total of residents and professors gave the module and a observation to 36% of the residents, selected by bio-stage sampling according the conglomerate and the typical cases. We used statistical procedures such as absolute numbers and percentages to summarize the information. Results showed insufficiencies in the achievement of knowledges and abilities required in the development of this module to increase the knowledges of the student to perform the ASH.
