This article assessed the importance of the organizational climate in the university management in the field of medical education by making reflections on different ways of determining this climate and improving it. Emphasis was made on the public health studies and the exploration of such organizational climate through five basic dimensions: motivation, leadership, reciprocity, involvement and communication. The assessment of the organizational climate as a valuable diagnostic tool for change management was underlined in order to reach higher efficiency in the institutions.
