Abstract

A research project was carried out to characterize the organizational climate in the management of the state educational coordinator within the Cuban Medical Mission in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. The universe of study was the total number of educational coordinators from the different states. The research used a combined system of theoretical, empirical methods and statistical procedures. The data collection was based on the application of the instrument of organizational climate as modified and validated by the author of the paper. The following dimensions were studied: leadership, motivation, participation, reciprocity and communication. This information allowed characterizing the organizational climate of the teaching management of the coordinator at state level. The dimension motivation exhibits the lower outcomes with 3 affected categories, that is, responsibility, recognition to contributions and adequacy in working conditions, followed by the dimension communication which category communicational styles were under the allowable limits. The same situation was observed in the category resolution of conflicts included in the dimension leadership. Likewise, the dimensions reciprocity and participation achieved good results in all their categories.
