ROSELL PUIG, Washington; GUZMAN BATISTA, Iraida y DOMINGUEZ LOPEZ, Juan Carlos. Particularities of the imaging series used in the teaching-learning process. Educ Med Super [online]. 2012, vol.26, n.1, pp. 136-142. ISSN 0864-2141.
Numerous and varied teaching aids are used in the teaching-learning process. Some of them have common characteristics and they are just different on the way of presentation, like in the imaging series made up of a set of flat visual images, logically sequenced, with the purpose of conveying essential information to back up the oral explanations of the professor. The objective of this paper was to explain the importance and fundamental characteristics of the imaging series by underlining their origin, classification and particularities. The imaging series stem from the printed materials and the didactic boards. They are classified according to the material support in graphical and projected series (fixed, mobile, computerized); they have their own particularities that should be known to facilitate their use.
