The evaluation of the formative processes, particularly linked to the formation of General Integral Medicine specialists, has increasingly strengthened as a means of achieving quality management, pursuant to the national and international requirements. At the same time, it discloses quantitative inequality in some specialties. The model of evaluation of the formative processes of general integral medicine residents through the formative evaluation should express the dialectic, systemic and developing character of this process, based on what, what for, how and where as the starting point of the relationships among its components and with the objective realities. All the above-mentioned allows correcting deficiencies in the formation of these professionals such as the process of university management and control and the direct impact of education at work on the students and the faculty alike, in order to guarantee the participating medical professionals' awareness. The article focused on the studies about the evaluative model of the formative processes designed to be applied by the general integral medicine residents, in addition to helping to make adjustments in the learning areas where such deficiencies were found, with a view to re-evaluating them in the future and to designing new teaching methods for general integral medicine specialists.
