Resumen

As part of the "Effectiveness of the Medicine curriculum" research project, it was necessary to assess the effectiveness of Propaedeutics in the formation of students at a crucial stage in their careers toward professional performance. Due to the lack of a suitable instrument, the decision was taken to build an ad hoc form which would take into account relevant factors related to the quality of the students´ formation. The questionnaire design and internal validation were developed in five stages. A group of 12 highly scientifically and pedagogically qualified professors participated, together with six Propaedeutics professors and two groups of students who were undergoing the Propaedeutics course at different times. The questionnaire had a general data and socio-economic section and ten professional formation sections. The final result was an adequate instrument to gather criteria from the students about the teaching process in Propaedeutics, which can be used after some adjustments in other subjects and stages of the career.
