Resumen

An interactive platform was designed for the subject called Research Methodology and Statistics, which would allow strengthening the process of knowledge consolidation in the university students and professors through a technological development project. The following variables were used in this research work: usefulness criteria of the user, information updating, adequacy of the contents to the subject curriculum and considerations according to the needs already met. All the students believed that the creation of a platform was necessary; the professors stated that it was very advantageous for research projects; the majority of students and professors regarded the contents as being updated. Most of students noticed the association of the curriculum and the contents. As a novel feature, one may add that this platform is designed so that every time one accesses to one exercise, the order of questions that appear on the screen and the order of answers change. There is also various instructional videos dealing with all the topics of the subject.
