Some aspects related to the use of the information technologies in the university education as educational aids were addressed, Emphasis was made on the advantages of the digital means in the higher education, thus providing the strengthening of learning in a creative, effective way and favoring the development of abilities, habits and capacities of the university students. It was reaffirmed that the efficient and rational use of these technologies is necessary and also the scientific and technical upgrading of the professionals and educators. Finally, general and specific recommendations are made to adequately use these technologies in the universities of the country pursuant to the demands of the present knowledge management in favor of the educational progress.
