The objective of this work is to present didactic considerations for the organization and successful development of the learning workshop in Medical Higher Education. Theoretical methods were used to deepen aspects of general didactics, Marxist-Leninist psychology and refer them to the particular conditions of the workshop class. From the description of the general characteristics of the workshop, its advantages and structure, considerations are expressed for the determination of the learning problem that is exemplified. Other elements are presented for each of the components of the teaching-learning process, so that their study enables the understanding of their integration into the aforementioned process. The considerations presented in this work can support the organization and development of the workshop class, and contribute to the teacher's preparation for conducting the teaching-learning process required in the training of future health professionals.
