Abstract

GEORGE REYES, Carlos Enrique. Approach to basic digital knowledge in the training of subspecialists in Pediatric Anesthesiology. Educ Med Super [online]. 2019, vol.33, n.4, e1677.  Epub Dec 01, 2019. ISSN 0864-2141.

At present, the use of digital technologies is an activity inherent to students of postgraduate educational programs, regardless of whether their training approach is classified as professionalizing or investigative. However, a necessary component to make this use efficient is to understand how digital knowledge is being incorporated as an element of disciplinary training. In order to identify the knowledge necessary to use these tools in the praxis of these health professionals, this study consists in an analysis of the emergence of pediatric anesthesiology and emerging practices related to technologies. The research was exploratory-descriptive, based on documentary observation and supplemented by key informants. The findings were presented in the form of indicators, which served as the basis for structuring the incorporation of technologies into this discipline.

Keywords : digital knowledge; pediatric anesthesiology; information and communication technologies; medicine.
