CRESPO MACHIN, Antonio; HIDALGO MEDEROS, Roberto; VALCARCEL IZQUIERDO, Norberto y PANOL QUINTANA, Meylin. Improvement of Professional Performance in the Multidisciplinary Health Team in Respiratory Rehabilitation for Congenital Cardiopathies. REMS [online]. 2024, vol.38 Epub 30-Sep-2024. ISSN 1561-2902.
Introduction:
Respiratory rehabilitation is aimed at reducing the risk of pulmonary complications. In order for health care proposals to be adjusted to the target population, it is important to determine the demands for updating, systematization and dissemination of knowledge from postgraduate education.
Objective:
To evaluate the training strategy for improving the professional performance of the multidisciplinary health team in respiratory rehabilitation for patients with congenital cardiopathies at Hospital Cardiocentro Pediátrico William Soler.
Methods:
Observation of professional performance and expert consultation, according to Delphy, were used. The chi-square goodness of fit test, the binomial test in the preexperiment, as well as the satisfaction test by the Iadov technique, were used.
Results:
From the analysis of the obtained information, it was found that the consulted experts evaluated all the indicators as quite adequate. In the preexperiment, very positive changes were observed in the cognitive, procedural and attitudinal dimensions. The group satisfaction index with the implementation of the training strategy was very satisfactory.
Conclusions:
The results express a scientific value by evidencing positive changes after the training strategy. The evaluation of the expert consultation and the preexperiment, in the comparison before and after the training actions, favor the improvement of the professional performance of the multidisciplinary health team. The results of the satisfaction test on the proposed training actions confirmed the viability of the strategy in its follow-up and sustainability.
