Results attained in 200 patients with diverse arthropathies and orthopaedic and rheumatologic disorders attended to at the Centro Integral Teaching Policlinic of Camagüey are analizaed. The TERAMAG-MT-200 magnetic field was used in the management of these patients. Good results were attained in 189 cases (94,5 %). Better results were attained in disorders of the knee (osteoarthritis; synovitis; postoperative fibrosis and rigidity; chondromalacia; and Hoffa's disease); epicondylitis and other disorders of the elbow; scapulohumieral periarthritis; tendinitis; inflammation of the insertions; inflammation of the trochanters; Barré-Liéou syndrome; and trigger fingers. The methods employed for each disorder are described.
