This paper shows in a summarized way the methodologics, development and results of two experiences where university-services-community are dynamically and flexibly linked in a mutual exchange process. The first experience included training actions as tutorial teaching for family physicians who in turn train community leaders so that the most pressing problems of the neighborhood be jointly solved. The second experience covered a research study of participatory actions for systematizing the experiences of people living in a neighborhood with serious socio-economic problems which is undergoing a process of social revival.
