The present paper is generally aimed at presenting some theoretical and practical elements for a reflection on the relationship of sociology and health from the health public viewpoint as well as to identify the main spheres of action of the sociologist in his/her professional performance as a member of a health care team and the problems that such interaction may face. from the methodological viewpoint, an analysis is made on the fundamental concepts in the course of history and on how they are expressed in practical health care services.
