The study provides some concepts on the information analysis and also some characteristics of the specialists working in this sphere. The quantitative and qualitative research methods, as lines of the Research Methodology, as well as the concepts and components of both methods were described. On the other hand, an assessment was made on the advantages and disadvantages of each of these methods with a view to using them in the information analysis
