The following article offers the basic psychological, pedagogical, and linguistic concepts underlying the genre approach for the teaching-learning process of writing abilities of the English language. At the same time, it supplies a practical example of how genre teaching-learning can be implemented in writing practice lessons for nursing students in higher medical education.
